This year's concert is dedicated to the memory of REBBETZIN JUDY YOUNG A"H and the charitable beneficiary is PROJECT EXTREME.
For three nights, the Harmony concert - by women, for women - will celebrate women's skills, strengths and accomplishments. The women/girls who participate come from a broad range of seminaries and schools, including Shulamith, SKA, TAG, HALB, HAFTR, and Bnos Bais Yaakov. The cast of 170 women cut across all demographics. The primary goal of the concert is to foster a greater sense of self-esteem, connectedness and togetherness.
Three thousand tickets will be sold for the three-night event with over 170 performers in the choirs and dance ensembles. HARMONY VII will follow in tradition and build on past success by bringing to the Far Rockaway/Five Towns Community a stunning, high value, Broadway style production.
Harmony and Project Extreme are honored to announce that this year's harmony concert is dedicated to the memory of
Rebbetzin Judy Young A"H
Rebbetzin Young, A"H, was the epitome of a strong, dedicated Jewish woman. She brought meaning and happiness through the spotlight of Torah and its values to the entire community. She dedicated herself to her family and was a model of Jewish motherhood, active community membership and tireless commitment to our collective future. She spread her love for Judaism and Torah in our community and throughout the world. She was the driving force behind Machon Academy of Queens, Sheefa Seminary and the Amen Group. With the sudden loss of Rebbetzin Young, A"H, the women involved in Harmony VII and Project Extreme express our appreciation and respect for the exemplary life Mrs. Young led and the remarkable influence she had on all the people around her.
